From the user side, the outage was immediately visible. As one report summarized it, “Claude is down, or at least it was,” noting that Anthropic’s latest update at about 10:25AM ET said, “The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented,” with user reports tapering off according to Down Detector. The same report pointed out that Claude’s own status dashboard shows such interruptions as “a pretty common occurrence.”
