Doors are now open at the Hot Wax, and this is the maiden episode. We're talking about I'm New Here by Gil Scott-Heron. It seemed like a poetic start to the podcast. This thing is like watching a movie with your ears, and I think it's got something for everybody. This specific copy: XL Recordings gatefold (catalog XLLP471) .
Hey it's Logues here, and the Club is open again for episode 3. Today I want to talk about The Rolling Stones. There's a good chance you're thinking "Who?" or "Oh brother, must we continue to milk this poor chapped teat?" But listen, this band is important to the philosophy of the Club and this program and I'll tell you a little more about that. And their album Some Girls is a Rolling Stones starter pack if you're uninitiated. Let your hair down and maybe give this one a spin.... Extra info for this episode will be posted to Nostr (long form events) as well as to the club site at https://hotwax.club This specific copy (as far as I can tell): COC 39108 https://www.discogs.com/release/2399029-The-Rolling-Stones-Some-Girls LP, Album, 2nd Version (Faces Removed)
