Ingredients

  • 10 almonds
  • 2 dried pitted plums
  • 1 date
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 handful frozen wild blueberries
  • 1 pinch of vanilla or a squeeze lemon juice (optional)
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • Seasonal fruits, berries, and crunchy nuts

Directions

  1. The night before, place almonds, plums, and the date in a bowl covered with 1 cup of water. Let them rest overnight to soften and activate.
  2. In the morning, pour the contents, including the soaking-water into your blender. Toss in the frozen blueberries and any optional flavour accents. Blend until smooth
  3. Stir the chia seeds thoroughly into the blended mixture. Allow 30 minutes for the chia to absorb the liquid and create a spoonable texture.
  4. Pour into your favorite bowl. I recommend arranging the toppings in artistic layers rather than mixing them in, turning your breakfast into a visual delight.
