Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of bread
  • butter

Directions

  1. cut hole in center of buttered bread
  2. crack egg into hole and cook on one side
  3. flip until ready, serve and enjoy

I always called this one toad in the hole, not to be confused with the other dish by the same name which turns out to be sausages baked in Yorkshire pudding. British food is weird.
