Why the Goddess Teaches Both Ways

The goddess doesn't just teach Truth and dismiss doxa. She explicitly teaches /both/:

- "You shall know the nature of the aether..." (fr. 10) - "From here on, learn (μάνθανε) mortal opinions..." (fr. 8.51) - Knowledge verbs (εἴσηι, πεύσηι) attach to doxastic objects throughout

Why? Because /mortals inhabit the realm of doxa/. We navigate a perceptible, changing world using our senses. This is a legitimate domain for inquiry that produces empirical knowledge.

Assaturian: "Doxastic things, in addition to what-is, are after all a part of the 'whole of things'."
